We are pleased to inform you that the Council is planning to participate in the InCosmetics Korea to be held on 6 th & 7 th July, 2016 at Coex, Seoul, South Korea.
South Korea is one of the world’s most exciting and fastest-changing beauty markets, introducing industry leading innovations and setting trends globally. As the South Korean beauty and personal care retail market posted a 5.8% growth year on year to 2013 compared to just 2.1% for the UK and 3.9% for the US, the importance of tapping into its potential cannot be underestimated. Companies looking to unlock South Korea’s unrivalled opportunities will gain huge advantages with Incosmetics Korea 2016.
Incosmetics Korea is the only exhibition in South Korea dedicated to the personal care ingredients. In the last year, more than 200 international suppliers of ingredients, fragrances and services ranging from lab equipment to regulations and testing solutions had gathered in the show. The exhibition caters for more than 3,000 predominantly Korean R&D and technical experts.

From the above, it can be observed that the exports of Cosmetics, Soaps, toiletries and essential oils to Korea republic in the year 2015-16 have shown a growth of 40.09% over the year 2014-15. The purpose of organizing this event is also to p r om o te a nd cr ea te a posi tive brand image of In dian p ro d u c ts. T h is, we hope would also r e s ult i nto ma ny m ore busi ness o ppo r t u ni t ies, j oi nt ve n t ur es a nd tec h nology tra n s fers.
COST OF PARTICIPATION
STANDARD SHELL SCHEME BOOTH PACKAGE
The above booth rates will include:

Full 4 sqm shell scheme booth with basic amenities [01 Reception Desk, 01 table, 02 chairs and 02 spot lights]

Listing in the exhibition catalogue
Admissibility of Marketing Development Assistance (MDA)
Please note that since Korea comes under General Area, the participants are eligible to get only MDA towards Stall Charges of Exhibition to the tune of Rs.1,50,000/- or actual and no reimbursement of Airfare.

The Firm should be a Member of the Council at least for a period of 12 Months
-
Export performance of the Firm in immediate preceding year should not be more than Rs. 30 Crores. Even if there are no exports, the participants are eligible for MDA.

The Firm should submit their export returns regularly to the Council
Please note that the firm can avail only one MDA at time in a financial year, under the General Area.
The firm should also register their tour 14 days in advance from the date of departure by submitting their MDA application, where the date of receipt of application by the council and the date of departure would not be considered for counting 14 days. Format of MDA application form is attached herewith for doing the needful.
IMPORTANT:- The said exhibition shall take place only if there is a minimum participation of 10 member-exporters.
Terms of Payment

100% by DD / Cheque or RTGS (Allotment of stall will be strictly based on receipt of payment)

DD / Cheque must be drawn in favour of “CHEMEXCIL A/C NO.10996680725 “and the same should be sent to Chemexcil, Mumbai office.
