Issues for Trade Policy Review of USA at WTO

Dear Members,
This is in continuation of our circular dated 13/11/2018 informing you that the Director, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, MOC&F has sent communication to the council regarding 14th Trade Policy Review (TPR) of United States scheduled to be held in December 2018 at WTO Geneva.
Kindly note that Trade Policy Review (TPR) is a regular exercise conducted by WTO for each of its members at fixed periodic intervals and other members may question/ raise concerns on various laws, practices which have bearing on the international trade, directly or indirectly.
Since USA is an important market, members may highlight issues pertaining to USA which can be raised during the TPR. These issues may point out deficiencies in US Laws, policies and practices that restrain free and fair trade in goods and services, lack of transparency, discrimination against foreign goods and services etc.
You are therefore once again requested to send issues/inputs, if any, to the council latest by 22/11/2018 on our e-mail id’s:- ed@chemexcil.gov.in, deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in & rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in .
