GST Returns Update
Extension of due dates for furnishing details/Returns for the months
of July, 2017 and August, 2017
|

Dear Members,
As you are aware, tax payers were supposed to file their GSTR-1 return for July 2017 by 5th Sept 2017. However, we understand that due to technical glitches/ system issues on GST Portal, many exporters were either getting system errors/ or unable to file the GSTR-1 return within the stipulated deadline.
Taking cognizance of the issues faced, Government has extended the timelines for filing the GST returns for July and August 2017. This change has also been notified vide CBEC Notification No. 29/2017 – Central Tax dated 5th Sept 2017.
The REVISED timelines for filing GST Return for July and August shall be as follows:
