Details regarding Shortage of Container Availability

Dear Members,
As you are aware, exporters are facing continued difficulty in getting container bookings for their export shipments leading to surge in the freight rates, missed sailings and possible loss of export business. Council has repeatedly taken up this issue with DoC/ Logistics Division/ DG Shipping for intervention.
We have now received communication from DoC that Shri Suresh Kumar JS, EP (CAP) Division, DoC has sought specific details in the matter.
Impacted Members are therefore requested to provide details in the following format:

Number of Containers that are short in Supply

Number of containers required for processing of exports
