India-Japan CEPA
Inputs for the 5th Joint Committee meeting at Secretary Level under India-Japan CEPA

Dear Members,
|
We have received communication from Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC), Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers informing us that the 5th meeting of Joint Committee at Secretary level for reviewing the implementation of India-Japan CEPA will be held shortly in Dec 2018 in New Delhi.
Since agenda points are being compiled by the ministry, the council has been requested to highlight issues which are required to be taken up with the Japanese side including issues related to market access, rules of origin, SPS/TBT measures etc urgently .
Members are therefore requested to revert with their issues, if any, related to JAPAN at the earliest (by weekend) on our e-mail id’s ed@chemexcil.gov.in, deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in & rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in .
Your early replies will be appreciated and enable us put-forth comments to the DCPC.
