The Korea Chem 2019 Expo is an industry-specific exhibition where various technologies and equipment such as foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and petrochemicals are exhibited. It provides effective marketing opportunities to meet about 35,000 chemical companies’ employees from the major chemical complexes in Ulsan, Daegu, and Yecheon, including the metropolitan area.
KOREA CHEM 2019 representing chemical engineering and process industry is the largest technology exhibition in Korea. With the participation of overseas & domestic exhibitors with world leading technologies and new products, KOREA CHEM is great opportunity for exhibitors to initiate or expand market share in Korea as well as Asia-Pacific Region.

Chemexcil has booked 180 sq.mtrs. space in the prime location of Hall No 5 KINTEX 1, Korea for their Member Exporters.
KOREA CHEM 2019 had presence of more than 1370 exhibitors (including concurrent events from 25 countries) and more than 64,435 business Visitors (Domestic: 61,395 / Overseas : 3,040) visited the last event.
Stall Rate:-
The stands are available in 6 sq.mtrs. only. (The organizer has given us only 30 stall of 6 sq. mtrs and we have to mobilize 30 participants under MAI scheme.)
The participation charges for a booth of 6 sq. mtrs. (shell scheme with display aids and spot lights) will be Rs. 1,60,000/- Plus 10% extra for corner stall. The stalls will be offered on first come first serve basis subject to receipt of payment.
The Ministry of Commerce & Industry has principally approved this project but final approval is awaited. Therefore member has to pay full amount of stall charges. If final approval received, members are eligible to get refund of stall as well as air fare under MAI scheme subject to fulfillment of the condition, otherwise they have to bear full stall charges.
Members who are eligible will get reimbursement 50% or more than 50% stall charges under MAI guidelines and Airfare charges.
ELIGIBILITY 0F STALL CHARGES / REIMBURSEMENT OF AIRFARE AS PER MAI SCHEME
Ø As per the Revised MAI guidelines of the Ministry, a company that has participated THRICE in a particular fair will not be eligible for subsidized stall rates / reimbursement of airfare and hence, would be required to pay the full cost of stall.
Ø Members who have participated in two exhibitions through CHEMEXCIL in the same financial year under MAI scheme will not be eligible for subsidized stall rates / reimbursement of airfare. In such eventuality, the company will have to pay the full cost of stall.
Ø The participating company should be a Member of the Council at least for a period of 12 Months, for claiming airfare.
Ø As per the MAI guidelines only Director/Partner/Proprietor of the company are eligible to get the airfare reimbursement.
Ø For reimbursement of airfare, export turnover of the participating company in the immediate preceding year should not be more than Rs. 30 Crores. In case the turnover is more than 30 cr. then member will get the subsidised stall charges subject to fulfilling of above condition but they will not get the reimbursement of airfare.
Ø The Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoC&I) has “in principle” approved the reimbursement of Airfare to the Member-Exporters participating in this exhibition. The reimbursement will be done as per the terms and conditions laid down by the MoC&I under old MDA Scheme and after receipt of funds from the ministry.
Ø The participating company should submit export returns to the Council regularly.
Ø The firm should register the tour 14 days in advance from the date of departure by submitting application (attached herewith) where date of receipt of application by the Council and date of departure is not considered for counting 14 days.
Ø Chemexcil will issue visa recommendation letter as soon as you submit the payment and details of the passport as per the prescribed format.
