Council is  organizing “Indian Chemicals & Cosmetics Exhibition at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, Bangladesh on 8 & 9th October 2017.This Project is being organised under Market Access Initiative (MAI) of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

India was the first country to recognize Bangladesh as an independent state and established diplomatic relations with the country immediately after its independence in December 1971. In the last more than four decades, the two countries have continued to consolidate their political, economic, trade and cultural relations and have built a comprehensive institutional framework to promote bilateral cooperation.


INDIA  BANGLADESH BILETRAL RELATIONS


India-Bangladesh trade has grown steadily over the last few years.  India’s exports to Bangladesh in 2015-16 (July-June) were US$ 5452.90 million and imports from Bangladesh during the same period were US$ 689.62 million.  In the five years (from FY 2011-12 to  FY 2015-16), total trade between the two countries has grown by more than 17%.  


Substantial duty concessions have been extended to Bangladesh under SAFTA, SAPTA and APTA. India has provided duty free quota free access to Bangladesh (and other SAARC LDCs) on all tariff lines except tobacco and alcohol under SAFTA since 2011. Four Border Haats, two each in Tripura and Meghalaya, have been established for the benefit of bordering communities.  Additional Border Haats on the India-Bangladesh border have been proposed and are under consideration. 


Total Indian investments in Bangladesh registered with Bangladesh Investment Development Authority are US$ 3.11 billion and are on an upward trajectory. Indian Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Bangladesh reached US$ 88.0 million in 2015-16.

With the help of High Commission of India in Bangladesh, Council has decided to hold “Indian Chemicals & Cosmetics Exhibition” at  Indian Chemicals & Cosmetics Exhibition at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, Bangladesh on 8 & 9th October 2017.

Exhibitors’ Profile:

Dyes & Dyes intermediates, Dyestuffs, Pigments, Basic Inorganic and Organic Chemicals, Textile Chemicals, Leather Chemicals; Agro Chemicals - Pesticides, Herbicides, Plant Growth Regulators, Cosmetics and Toiletries, Essential Oils, Castor Oil and its Derivatives, Speciality Chemicals.

Council has booked  60 stalls  for her member exporters and all the stalls are 9 sq. mtr.

This is an approved project under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India under Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme.

Terms of payment:

  • 100% payment in one installment. Stall confirmation will be strictly against 100% payment of stall charges.

  • Please send scan copy of Cheque / UTR No. on roahmedabad@chemexcil.gov.in mentioning the name of your Company and stall number of stall along with Company Profile in the attached format and passport details.

Cancellation & refund Policy:

 

  •  If any member wants to cancel their participation after making the payment due to unforeseen circumstances and request for refund of payment made before remitting the payment to the organizer by the Council, we may refund their payment after deducting 10% of the stall charges.
  • Once we released the payment to the Organizer and thereafter any member wants to cancel their participation and request for refund of the stall charges, No refund will be given. However,  if Chemexcil get any other confirmed member-participant for such cancelled stall, after deducting 10% administrative cost,  we will consider to refund 90% of the stall charges paid by the member.
  • If any member could not participate in the event after making the payment and request for refund of the stall charges made, there will be no refund in such cases.
