Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
Cross border transactions i.e., import of inputs and export of finished goods are regular transactions for various industries. Exporters intend to be most tax efficient and claim eligible incentives under customs, FTP and GST laws.
During said process, some of restrictions inbuilt in said laws are unintentionally violated which lead to issuance of notices/summons by government agencies for investigation on GST refunds (Rule 96 (10) CGST Rules), entitlement on benefit of advance authorization, EOU scheme etc.
Thus, knowledge of legally sustainable tax efficient model for cross border transactions and handling the present investigation for violation of Rule 96 (10) of CGST Rules is need of hour.
