Non-tariff measures (TBT) issue being faced by our exporters to be raised in the
forthcoming WTO TBT committee meetings
|

Dear Members,
We have received communication from Department of Commerce regarding inputs for upcoming WTO TBT Committee Meetings which are scheduled to be held in Mid-July, 2022.
You will appreciate that these meetings give an opportunity to member countries to raise their concerns with regard to the non-tariff measures relating to SPS/TBT taken by any other member country.
In view of the same, EPCs have been requested to kindly identify issues that could be raised as Specific Trade Concerns (STCs) during the forthcoming meetings of TBT Committee. It is also requested that a small background to the issue so identified along with details of its impact on our exports may please be provided in the format below:
