Questionnaire for Chemexcil's  proposed Study Report on   "State and Central

 

 

Taxes and Levies on export which are not Neutralised"

 

 

Dear Members,

 

This has reference to our  recent circulars informing  you   about our  Stakeholders Consultation Meetings in Ahmedabad &  Mumbai  for Chemexcil's proposed study report on  "State and Central Taxes and Levies on export which are not neutralised".    Council has assigned the task of preparing this report  to  Mr. Sudhakar Kasture- Director, M/s. Helpline Impex Pvt Ltd, Mumbai.

 

We are pleased to inform you that  the council has successfully organized  Stakeholders Consultation Meetings in Ahmedabad &  Mumbai on 01/07/2019  & 05/07/2019 respectively,  which were well attended by the   member-exporters who gave valuable inputs.  We are grateful to them for sparing their  valuable time and also effort.

 

We would like to re-iterate that  this exercise is aimed at capturing the relevant data to present the case to DGFT for the benefit of the exporters from chemical industry.

 

Therefore,  it’s very important that, other members should also provide data to the Government via export promotion councils, so that such rates can also  be fixed as early as possible for chemical sector. (On the lines of  “Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (RoSCTL) scheme on export of garments and made-ups  announced vide MoT  notification 08.3.2019, through a scrip  to be issued by DGFT).

 

To collect  your data, we once again urge the members to  provide information as required in the questionnaire  available for download using below link-

The duly filled up questionnaire be mailed to us latest by 12/07/2019  on (sk@helplineimpex.co.in and CC to- ed@chemexcil.gov.in, deepakgupta@chemexcil.gov.in) so that we can consider  your inputs in our report. Members who have already forwarded their response, may kindly ignore this mailer.

 

Your  participation in this time-bound exercise will be appreciated  and shall add value to our proposed report.
