Inputs for 5th India-Brazil Trade Monitoring Mechanism (TMM) to be held in New Delhi

Dear Members,
This has reference to our circular dated 27/05/2019 informing you that we have received communication from the Under Secretary (FT – LAC), Department of Commerce, Government of India regarding 5th Meeting of India-Brazil Trade Monitoring Mechanism being scheduled shortly in New Delhi. The meeting will be co-chaired by Commerce Secretary from Indian side.
Please note that the India-Brazil Trade Monitoring Mechanism (TMM) was created with the objective of identifying bottlenecks and taking appropriate measures to overcome operational/ tariff obstacles to bilateral trade. The 4th Meeting of the India-Brazil TMM was held on 30th September, 2016 in Brasilia, Brazil. A copy of the minutes of the meeting is enclosed.
During the upcoming meeting, all the issues relating to trade and investment of both sides will be discussed.
However, we still await inputs from the members. You are once again requested to kindly revert with all the issues (tariff and non-tariff) relating to India and Brazil with details latest by 15/06/2019 on our e-mail ids - ed@chemexcil.gov.in, deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in & rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in.
