Dear Members,   This is in continuation of our recent circular  informing you about the forthcoming WTO TBT/SPS committee meetings to be held in June/July 2018 and requesting inputs on SPS/ TBT for the same meeting.  Unfortunately, replies from the members are still awaited.   You will appreciate that these meetings provide an opportunity to the member-countries to raise their concerns relating to SPS/TBT measures being undertaken by other member countries.   In this regard, we request you to kindly let us know  any such issues being faced in overseas markets  which can be raised as Specific Trade Concerns (STCs)  during the meetings of  WTO TBT/SPS committee.     Members are therefore requested to send  us  their inputs (with some details)  latest by 21/06/2018 on e-mail id’s – deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in,  balani.lic@chemexcil.gov.in  & rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in Your replies will be appreciated and shall enable us submit to the ministry  for deliberations during the WTO meetings.
