Trade Issues faced in CIS countries

Dear Members,
The Council has received communication from the FT-CIS Division, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry regarding trade related issues faced in CIS countries.
As you might be aware, Department of Commerce is the nodal authority to look after the bilateral trade related issues for taking up with concerned country for resolution. FT(CIS) Division is looking after trade related matter with the 12 CIS Countries and these are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and they were part of the erstwhile Soviet Union i.e USSR.
Members are therefore requested to let us know the trade related issues, if any, being faced in CIS. The details should preferably include reasons for low level of our share in export and what measures you would like to suggest to increase our share and to resolve all such issues.
Members are therefore requested to kindly send their replies by 04/04/2019 on our e-mail ids ed@chemexcil.gov.in, deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in & rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in .
