Training at O/o Addl DGFT Mumbai about MEIS application for OFAC-sanctioned
countries

Dear Members,
|
We have received communication from Shri S.A. Chavan, Jt. DGFT at O/o Addl DGFT Mumbai informing us about their Trade Notice regarding Training at O/o Addl DGFT Mumbai about MEIS application for OFAC-sanctioned countries.
As you might be aware, regarding export orders executed to OFAC-sanctioned countries, DGFT Delhi has issued Public Notice (No. 8 dtd. 14.05.19) and Trade Notice (No. 15 dtd. 16.05.19) explaining a new procedure to apply for MEIS incentives without the bank's e-BRC. In this council regard, has also sent its circular to the members on 16/05/2019.
Further, for clarity regarding online application procedures for the same and to resolve the queries, office of the Additional DGFT, Mumbai is conducting brief training for the stakeholders on 22nd July, 2019 in the office premises. EPC’s have been advised to give wider publicity to this trade notice to ensure stakeholders (relevant exporters) are informed about the training.
The schedule of the session is as follows:
Ø Subject: Training about MEIS application for OFAC-sanctioned countries
Ø Venue: Conference Hall, 2nd Floor, D wing, Office of the Additional DGFT, Mumbai, Nishtha Bhavan, New Marine Lines, Mumbai.
Ø Date: 22nd July, 2019. 3:00 PM
Relevant Members are requested to attended this session and clear doubts, if any, on the operational aspects.
Please note that there is no prior booking or blocking of seats. Due to limited space, sitting will be on first-come-first served basis.
Member-exporters are however requested to provide details of their participants (relevant personnel handling documentation/ export incentives) latest by 19/07/2019 (1st half) on our email ids- deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in, kalpana.acct@chemexcil.gov.in & info@chemexcil.gov.in .
