Dear Members,
We are pleased to inform you that the Council is organising twin seminars on "Model GST Law: Critical Issues Impacting Chemical Industry” & “Forex Management & Hedging” respectively on 21st October 2016 at Hotel Novotel, S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad.
- Seminar on GST - As you know, GST is the biggest tax reform post-independence, which is set to replace the complex indirect tax regime currently being administered by the Government. It is essential that the business community is educated about the preparatory steps / actions which need to be taken before the introduction of GST Regime. This Seminar has been planned considering the above and apprising the Trade & Industry of the salient features of the GST Law, the probable issues that the Chemical Sector is likely to face / needs clarity on, the transition provisions.
- Seminar on Forex Management/ Hedging: The objective of this seminar is to create awareness about various aspects of Forex Management & hedging specially among MSME members so that they can take informed decisions about risk management.
Eminent speakers/ experts from Mumbai & Ahmedabad will share their knowledge on both the topics.
