Dear Members,
Please be informed that the Vietnam Chemical Agency (Vinachemia) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has opened the Substance Nomination Window for the National Chemical Inventory (NCI) and the deadline is set on April 15, 2021.
Enterprises are encouraged to submit information on chemicals that have been imported, manufactured, and used in Vietnam. To nominate the chemicals, proposals must be completed through the National Chemical Database by registered users.
The purpose of this action is to facilitate commercial enterprise notification of chemical substances that are currently in commerce but have not yet been included in Vietnam's National Chemical Inventory. Once finalized, it will be used to define new and existing chemicals.
Chemicals that are not listed in the inventory will be considered as new chemical that will require registration before they can be used, imported, or produced in Vietnam.
