We are happy to inform you that  CHEMEXCIL has  drawn up  a strategy for Focus ASEAN and accordingly, as an export promotion measure as also to boost our trade with the said Region, the Council is participating in the 2nd International Exhibition & Conference on Agriculture for Myanmar.  The “Agro Myanmar 2014” the only  Exhibition at Myanmar for the  Agro  industry, which is to be held at MICC, Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar on the 18th  to 19thNovember, 2014.

The Expo is jointly being presented by the most authoritative Chemical body in China, China National Chemical Information Center (CNCIC), China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA), and VEAS. The expo is supported by the Myanmar Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Federation of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Myanmar Onion Garlic and Culinary Crops Production and Exporting Association, Myanmar Agro based Food Processors and Exporters Association, Myanmar Fruit and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association, Myanmar Farm Crop Producers Association, Myanmar Rubber Producers Association.

Agro Myanmar 2014 is the response to the recognition of huge investing opportunities in agrochemical and crop care industry which collaborates with agriculture. The tradeshow will provide a useful commercial platform for exhibitors and visitors from all related fields to co operate and build up a firm position for their business in the growing market of Myanmar.

Agro Myanmar 2014 is targeted to attract those in Agrochemicals and Crop Protection Products, Agriculture Chemicals, Chemical Fertilizers, Crop Protection and Biotechnology , Agricultural Mechanical Equipments  and Agricultural Products.

The purpose of organising this event is  also to promote and create a positive brand image of Indian products.  This, we hope would also result in to many more business opportunities, joint ventures and technology transfers.

Admissibility of MDA for the above events:

1. Please note that since Myanmar come under the Focus ASEAN Region,  member-exporters  who are participating in the above  Exhibition are eligible  to get MDA towards stall charges of the Exhibition to the tune of Rs.1,30,000/- or actual, and  reimbursement of Airfare by economy class at actual or Rs.70,000/-  whichever is less. 

2. The firm should be  a member  of the Council at least for a period of 12 months.

1. Export performance of the firm in immediate preceding year should not be more than 30 crs. 

4. The firm should submit their export returns regularly to the Council.

5. Please  note that  the firm can avail  only one MDA  at  a  time  in  a financial year, under the Focus ASEANProgarmme,  .

6. The firm should also register their tour 14 days in advance from the date of departure  by submitting their MDA application, where the date of receipt of application by the Council and the date of departure would not be  considered  for counting 14 days. Format of MDA application form is  attached herewith for your doing the needful.

7. You may also note that  since Visa procedure is time consuming and cumbersome, you are requested to intimate  to us confirmation of your participation in the above eventas early as possible, and  make your payment eitherthrough RTGS or send us Demand Draft of the requisite amount towards participation charges for the Exhibition infavour of  ‘CHEMEXCIL’ Mumbai along with Company Profile and Passport details (  formats of which are given below) as well as MDA application form, duly filled in, as early as possible as the time is very short, so as to  enable us to make all other arrangements in time.

Payment of booking of stalls through RTGS & DEMAND DRAFT:
Member-exporters of CHEMEXCIL can book their stalls online as per their choice by making the payment through RTGS. After making payment,  member-exporters have to  submit the scanned  copy of the Transaction Report of RTGS  on e.mail: shobha.proj@chemexcil.gov.in(Mobile No. 9969010118-Shobha Taral). On receipt of scanned  copy of  RTGS payment, CHEMEXCIL will confirm booking of Stall of the concerned member-exporter on his email.

Payment through  DEMAND DRAFT :

Member exporters who are not able to send their payment through RTGS, can book their stall by making payment through only Demand Draft.   Those member exporters who prefer to make the payment by Demand Draft instead of RTGS,  have to send their  DD of the requisite amount in favour of “CHEMEXCIL” along with their choice of stall numbers  and the company profile in the given format to CHEMEXCIL Head Office, Mumbai on email:shobha.proj@chemexcil.gov.in  Accordingly, on receipt of the said DD, Council’s officer will book their stalls  online as per the choice of the concerned member-exporter or depending upon the availability of stalls at that time.  CHEMEXCIL reserves the right to allot the stalls to the member exporters  who are booking the stalls through Demand Draft.

1. Please note that since limited MDA fund is available from the Government, stalls will be made available on ‘First-cum-first-served basis’. 

Further,Council will be bringing out an Export Catalogue which will be carrying article on achievements and development made by Indian Agro Chemical Industry as well as company profiles of the participants.

Buyer Seller Meet

Organiser are also organising a Farm Visit on the  20th of November, 2014 and a Buyer seller Meet on the 21st  of November 2014 at Hotel Sedona, Mandalay, Myanmar and will be offered at a special rate of 1200 USD per table space (it is about 4sqm). Please note that, only 10 exhibitors can participate in the buyer seller meet as there is insufficient space to accommodate all exhibitors.
