To promote India’s Export on sustained basis during 10th five year plan; Focus Product-Focus country approach; To evolve specific strategy for enhancement of export accessing new market or increasing share in existing market; Specific market, specific product approach through market study/survey

MARKET ACCESS INITIATIVE SCHEME - 2023
Scope
To identify priorities of research relevant to Dept. of Commerce and sponser studies consistent with priorities; WTO studies for evolving WTO compatible strategy; To support EPCs/Trade Promotion Organisations in undertaking market studies/survey for evolving proper strategy; To support marketing projects abroad on Focus Product – Focus country basis; Activities to be funded under marketing project:
 
Bullet Opening of showrooms;
Bullet Opening of warehouses;
Bullet Display in international Dept. stores;
Bullet Publicity campaign and Brand promotion;
Bullet Participation in trade fair etc. abroad;
Bullet Research & Product development;
Bullet Reverse visits of the prominent buyers from project focus countries;
Bullet Export potential survey of the states;
Bullet Registration charges for product registration abroad for pharmaceuticals, bio- technology and agro-chemicals;
Bullet Testing charges for engineering products abroad;
Bullet Support cottage and handicrafts units;
Bullet Support recognised associations in industrial clusters for marketing aborad;
