Dear Members,

 

We would like to inform  you that the  O/o Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT)  has issued Notification No. 19/2015-2020 dated 17^th August 2021  regarding guidelines for  “Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP)  scheme”.

 

The guidelines of the Scheme, exclusions etc are explained in the above said Notification.

 

The RoDTEP Rates as per Appendix 4R are also announced.   Rates for some of the Chemicals  under our purview  i.e. Chapter 32, 33, 34  & 38  are around 0.8 to 0.9 %.  However, in few items from essential oils (chapter 33)  the rates are up-to 1.7%.

 

However, the rates for Chapter no. 28 and 29 are not announced yet for which council shall represent and follow-up with the concerned dept.

 

Members are requested to take  note of this notification and also check for  their rates in Appendix 4R.  The said  notification is available for reference on below link-
