Dear Sir/Madam,
Council is in receipt of communication form Department of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, seeking comments on the appeal from PMFAI (Pesticides Manufacturers and Formulators Association of India) to increase Custom duty on imports of finished pesticide formulations to control excessive imports which put growth of indigenous manufacturing sector in great danger.
Enclosed herewith is the detailed appeal for your kind perusal and advice.
