BIS - To seek inputs for 110 Chemicals identified by Dept of Chemicals for making QCO Notified
|
Dear Members,
You may be aware that BIS certification scheme is basically voluntary in nature. However, for a number of products compliance to Indian Standards is made compulsory by the Central Government through issuance of QCOs.
In this regards, we have received intimation from Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) informing that they are exploring the attached list of 110 chemicals for making the Quality Control Order (QCO) notified under BIS.
Members are therefore requested to go through the attached list of chemicals and provide the inputs / comments to the Council on e-mail ids:- amrita@chemexcil.in ; with copy to dg@chemexcil.in; pw@chemexcil.in, rd.del@chemexcil.in latest by 29th December 2022.
