Simplified auto-registration of beneficiaries (IEC holders) on ICEGATE for
eSanchit and Other benefits

Dear Members,
This is in continuation of our circular dated 06/05/2019 informing you that the Simplified Auto Registration for IEC holders is live on www.icegate.gov.in. The simplified Registration Module in ICEGATE is designed to register at the ICEGATE without the need to upload the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC), PAN verification, document upload to ICEGATE and approval procedure. However, IEC holders registered under Simplified Auto Registration category are not permitted to file Customs documents. A detailed advisory was made available by ICEGATE using below link-

In this connection, CBIC has also issued circular no. 14/2019- Customs dated 03/06/2019 regarding Simplified auto-registration of beneficiaries (IEC holders) on ICEGATE for eSanchit and Other benefits. The same is available on below link-

As per CBIC circular, the registration of importers and exporters will also enable direct access to information related to their consignments for which DG(Systems) is providing several enquiries under their login. The importers and exporters will get intimation about the status of their consignments and PDF copies of their declarations on their registered email ids. The option of replying to the queries raised by Customs officers, including those raised during post clearance audit has also been provided under the login of the IEC holder so as to avoid the necessity of submitting the same physically at the Service Centre.
In view of above, Members who have not registered on ICEGATE are once again requested to take note of this ease of doing business measure and do the needful accordingly. For further details, you may refer to advisory/ circular made available using above urls.
