We are pleased to inform you that CHEMEXCIL in association with GPC is organizing Webinar on “Agrochemical Compliance in South East Asia countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and Cambodia”.
Southeast Asia countries have seen the need to update their registration regulations in recent years to reflect changes in the agricultural business sector, but progress varies widely. The legislations in all countries regulate chemical pesticides, however, the registration of biopesticides is only partially implemented in some countries.
The agrochemicals' industry is a highly growing one, which also calls for the need to regulate its market. One major way these countries’ governments try to reduce pesticides’ hazards is through agrochemical regulations. Each country requires local citizens or organizations to register the agrochemicals. Provision of data on the chemistry, toxicity, assessment tests, and environmental effects is one of the requirements every registrant must fulfill. This webinar will further address the registration requirements and procedures for agrochemicals in Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam..
