Unilateral Sanctions Imposed on Russian Bank (Sberbank) by Third Countries

Dear Members,
We have received communication from Under Secretary, FT(CIS), Department of Commerce regarding subject matter.
We understand that the Department of Commerce (DoC) has received Note Verbale ( NV) dated 14.03.2022 from Embassy of Russian Federation along with a list of explanations on unilaterally imposed sanctions on the largest lender Sberbank which has a branch in India.
EPC’s have been advised to share the same with stakeholders for their information and necessary action.
Therefore, concerned Member-exporters are requested to take note of the enclosed communication and proceed accordingly.
