Concessions to be offered to China and sought from

China under RCEP

Dear Sir/ Madam,

As you are aware, RCEP is a comprehensive Free Trade Agreement being negotiated between the 10 ASEAN Member States (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) and ASEAN's 6 FTA partner countries (Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and New Zealand).

 In this connection, member are requested to provide us following information:

(i)        What lines can India offer to China under RCEP on a reciprocal basis? The same may be listed out the HS 8 digit level

(ii)       What additional lines do we need as concessions from China, the same may also be listed out at the HS 8 digit level

The format to be used is as follows:

As Ministry has to share the information with RCEP parties on priority,  Member-exporters are therefore requested to send their inputs at the earliest on our e-mail id’s-  deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in & balani.lic@chemexcil.gov.in .   Your early inputs on the same will enable us forward to the Ministry for  further deliberations.
