Dear Sir / Madam,
As you may be aware, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has set an ambitious target of USD 400 Billion for exports of goods for the year 2021-22. Accordingly for the Chemical Sector the export target of CHEMEXCIL for the year 2021-22 is USD 25.25 Billion.
To achieve the set target, CHEMEXCIL is in contact with the Indian Missions abroad and have requested them to provide us the list with contact details of the distributors/ Importers of the products covered under our Council and the relevant associations of interest as well as Statutory compliance requirements in a particular country.
In this context, we are in receipt of inputs from Embassy of India, Kyiv, Ukraine as under:
1. Details of Importers/Traders/Distributors of concern to CHEMEXCIL in Ukraine (Attached).
2. Chemical Associations of interest in Ukraine - Mission has identified two associations, website details of which are placed below:

According to the statistics, India’s Chemicals exports to Ukraine is USD 29.24 Million for the year 2020-21 registering a decline of 38.46% as compared to previous year. The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GOI has set a target of USD 94.65 Million for exports of Chemicals to Ukraine for the year 2021-22.
We hope the members will find the above information useful and interact with the potential importers / distributors / associations to explore the potential of increasing their exports to Ukraine to achieve the set target of our exports.
Further, Members are requested to provide us the following background details that could be shared with the above associations through our Embassy to establish more fruitful contacts:-
1. Potential and status of exports of your products.
2. Details of your products that may be of special interest to Ukraine.
3. Does your company already have experience in exporting to Ukraine?
Statutory compliance requirements in Ukraine, would depend on the nature of the product. Hence, these can be better established after details from your side as requested above, especially on products of interest, are received from you.
