Dear Member,
During the last several week, the novel coronavirus outbreak has thrown an unprecedented and humongous challenge resulting into nationwide lockdowns, shuttering businesses and loss of lives. Our government and industry are taking a massive slew of initiatives to help combat the ongoing crisis.
 
With India in the midst of 21 days of nation-wide lock-down, there may be major supply chain and operational disruptions. To secure the adequate production and supply of the essential commodities A Helpdesk has been operationalized by DGFT for export/import related issues being faced in the current situation. Some of the members has already sent their issue on helpdesk.
 
CHEMEXCIL has received trade related issues from Members have been submitted to Department of Commerce/DGFT and issued Circular Relaxations in time line for compliance under ECGC scheme due to COVID 19, DG Shipping Order No.07 dated 29/03/2020 to shipping lines on non-charging of container detention charges on import/ export shipments due to COVID related issues and DGFT Trade Notice on Retrospective Issuance of Certificates of Origin under India trade Agreements etc., which is uploaded in CHEMEXCIL website.
 
In addition to the given sheet, exporters/importers may directly flag their issues, Members are requested to take note of  these trade facilitation measures and requested to provide feedback in attached format also indicate the collector/ SP, concerned authorities it will help us to reach out fast to the concerned officer.
