DGFT Notification on Indian Trade Classification (Harmonised System)
of Export Items, 2023’ for Chapter 01-39 of Schedule 2.

Dear Sir/Madam,
O/o the Director General Foreign Trade has issued a Notification No. 60/2023 dated February 13, 2024 notifing the ‘Indian Trade Classification (Harmonised System) of Export Items, 2023’ for Chapter 01-39 of Schedule 2.
Schedule 2 of FTP deals with the exporting license policy of various goods.
This notification is in accordance with the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.
The export policy and conditions for items under Chapter 01-39 are specified in it. It is also available on the DGFT website.
Chapter 01-39 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS), 2023 contains current export policy of items indicated alongwith policy conditions to be fulfilled, if any.
This shall come into force with immediate effect.
