Dear Member,

This is to inform members that the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued Trade Notice No. 07/2026-27 inviting comments and suggestions from stakeholders on the proposed amendments in ITC (HS), 2022 Schedule-II (Export Policy) arising out of changes introduced through the Finance Act, 2026. The proposed amendments cover changes in HS classifications, product descriptions and export policy entries across various chapters.

For the convenience of members, CHEMEXCIL has further segregated and compiled the amendments falling under the Council's product coverage based on the relevant HSN Codes.

• Annexure-I containing the proposed changes in Chapter Notes as introduced through the Finance Act, 2026 has been reviewed and the entries relevant to CHEMEXCIL sectors have been highlighted in yellow for easy reference.

• Annexure-II containing the proposed changes in HS Codes and Product Descriptions has been filtered and compiled to include only those HSN Codes and product entries falling under the purview of CHEMEXCIL.

Members are requested to review the enclosed annexures and submit their comments, suggestions or concerns, if any, on the proposed amendments at export-dgft@nic.in by 10 June 2026.

Members are also requested to mark a copy of their submissions to CHEMEXCIL at: ed@chemexcil.in, amrita@chemexcil.in, ad.del@chemexcil.in and shalini@chemexcil.in
