DGFT Trade Notice No. 12 on API Integration and Bulk Upload Facility for Self-

Certification of eBRC -reg.

Dear Members

O/o DGFT has issued a trade notice no 12/ 2024-25 dated 14th August on API Integration (Application Programming Interface) and Bulk Upload Facility for Self-Certification of eBRC -reg.

It is announcement about the integration of Banks with the DGFT- eBRC System, enabling automatic transmission of Inward Remittance Messages (IRMs) for trade account transactions.

This integration will allow exporters to log in to the DGFT website (https://dgft.gov.in ) to review Inward Remittance Messages (IRMs) and self-certify their electronic Bank Realization Certificates (eBRCs) by matching them with invoice or Shipping Bill details.

To further streamline the eBRC self-certification process, the DGFT will introduced two new functionalities effective from 20th August 2024 which are as under

  1. Bulk Upload: Exporters can now generate multiple eBRCs simultaneously using a spreadsheet containing IRM mapping and Shipping Bill and Invoice details. This feature will enhance efficiency and reduce manual entry errors.

  1. API Integration: Exporters can interface their ERP software, Accounting, or other software systems with the DGFT eBRC system in near real-time. This API integration will allow secure and fast certification with controlled access through credential management. Exporters must register online and manage API consumer access.

The DGFT website provides user manuals under the 'Learn' section, including guidance on purpose code alignment and validation rules for eBRC generation.

DGFT Regional Authorities will conduct outreach programs to raise awareness of the new eBRC capabilities.

Members can provide their feedback via email to ebrc-dgft@gov.in .

Support for e BRC-related issues is available through the DGFT Helpdesk on the DGFT website.
