Extension of Enforcement Date for Quality Control Orders (QCOs) on 4-Chemicals
|
Dear Sir/Madam
We would like to bring to your attention an important update regarding the Quality Control Orders (QCOs) for the following 4-Chemicals:

Morpholine
-
-
Acetic Acid
-
-
Methanol
-
-
Aniline
-
We wish to inform you that, based on our representation and discussions with the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, there has been an extension of the enforcement date for the QCOs on above chemicals. The new enforcement date has been extended by six months. Enclosed herewith is the detailed Gazette notification for your kind perusal and reference.
We would like to highlight that CHEMEXCIL has promptly represented for the extension of the QCOs for these chemicals, and we are pleased to share that our efforts have been successful. The Department of Chemicals has acknowledged and accepted our request, leading to the extension of the QCOs for these Chemicals.
This extension will ensure that, members can get an ample time to become complaint with the QCO process with the updated guidelines.
