Sub: Extension of the validity of Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) expiring on 31st March , 2020
Dear Member,
As we all are aware that the pandemic of COVID-19 has engulfed the entire world and has posed serious challenges for the health and economic security of millions of people worldwide. In India too, the spread of coronavirus has been alarming and is posing severe health and economic ramifications to our country
Considering the challenges faced by member exporters in such taxing times and looking into the operational challenges from the lockdown, because of which many of exporters have not been able to renew their RCMC for 2020-21.
DGFT has decided and issued Trade Notice 60 dated 31st March-2020 (Enclosed) on Extension of the validity of Registration Cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) beyond on 31st March, 2020.
As per this directive DGFT has directed all regional and competent authorities that they shall not insist on valid RCMC (In cases where the same has expired on 31st March-2020) from the applicants for any incentive authorisation till September-2020.
No specific endorsement would be required to get the deemed extension in validity till 30.9.2020
In view of above Chemexcil shall issue the proforma of membership fees for the year 2020-2021 after restoration of normalcy.
Members are requested to take the note of it.
