FIEO’s Container demand e-marketplace for Exporters/Shipping lines/Forwarders etc

Dear Members,
As you are aware, in the last few months, the exporting community across the sectors has been facing lot of challenges with regard to the availability of empty containers at various locations and resultant surge in ocean freights.
In continuation of the same, we have received communication from “Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO)” regarding their Container demand e-marketplace for Exporters/Shipping lines/Forwarders etc
We understand that, to facilitate assessment of container requirement as well it’s fulfilment, FIEO has developed a first level marketplace (https://fieo.electronbridge.com:444/intrested_into_container/#/dashboards/v1) wherein exporters can post their container demands online. All such requirements are also made visible to Shipping lines/ Freight forwarders/others so that they can express their interest to fulfill such demands.
The e-module shall help in ground level assessment of containers required in the country and on the other hand, it shall enable the exporting community to negotiate competitive quotes for their requirements. The web link is live from yesterday and exporters have started posting their container requirement for various locations.
Considering the seriousness of the logistics issues faced, members may take advantage of this new tool launched by FIEO and post their container requirements.
