IIFT’s  CHEMEXCIL-LPI survey  to measure logistics performance for chemical sector

Dear Members,

This  is in continuation of our recent circulars  informing you about  setting up of  Centre for Trade Facilitation and Logistics (CTFL) at IIFT, New Delhi   and  interactive meetings of their faculty with members  at various locations to understand  Chemical Sector Specific Logistics Problems. Subsequently,  there was a logistics conclave organized at IIFT New Delhi on 19-20th November   wherein  our members interacted with Senior officers from DoC highlighted the logistics related issues.

We have now received communication from Dr Nitin Seth,  Professor (Supply Chain and Operations Excellence), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi   seeking our  active support in the final phase of  data collection and joint report writing.

Based on the interactions with  council members and exporters, CTFL-IIFT  have finalized the measurement tool to measure logistics performance for CHEMEXCIL sector.

In this regard, we seek your support in  replying to  CHEMEXCIL-LPI survey using the link  given below:

http://docs.iift.ac.in/survey/ctfl/lpi/CHEMEXCIL

We request active support of the members in providing  responses latest by 25th Dec 2019 .  Once the response is submitted it will go directly to CTFL-IIFT for examination.  So, kindly inform us on e-mail ids-   ed@chemexcil.gov.in&  deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in  and rodelhi@chemexcil.gov.in  for records.

We are sure with the active support of exporters, CTFL team jointly with CHEMEXCIL will not only be able to measure the logistics issues for CHEMEXCIL exporters, but also help in suggesting the policy recommendations for the improvement of logistics performance.

Thanking You,

Yours faithfully,

S G Bharadi
