Updates on UN Certificate Issuance

Dear Members,

As we all know, member-exporters have often highlighted various  issues faced while  obtaining UN Certificates/ Renewals etc from Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP).

To address these issues, the council had also organized a Virtual Interaction  of IIP Officers with Chemexcil members regarding UN Certification of Hazardous goods on 1st June 2021 which was well attended and deliberated upon.

Now, as per latest updates on IIP, we find that UN Certificate Extensions has been stopped from 1st  January, 2022.  

Further,  there are other   changes  such as  Validity of  UN Certificate for  ISO 9001:2015  certified/ non certified companies, Testing Fee/ Charges  etc.
