Urgent Inputs on Indian Chemical Sector for upcoming Task Force (TF)
Meeting with top level department officials: Regarding

Dear Members,
CHEMEXCIL has been intimated about the upcoming Task Force Meeting on the Indian Chemical Sector with top officials of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
The focus of this meeting is to address/resolved the challenges and strategize for boosting Indian Chemical Exports in global markets.
This aim of this TF meeting is to create a platform involving CHEMEXCIL, Industry stakeholders, and Government bodies to discuss, resolve and enhance the Indian Chemicals competitiveness and align with India’s vision for economic growth by 2047.
This meeting is an important opportunity for members to share their inputs related to policies, procedures and resolve the bottlenecks.
In view of above we request members to share the specific practical inputs with respect to following pointers.
· Specific infrastructure needed, Upgradation of existing infrastructure with details of site and issue.
· Land acquisition or FDI issues
· Energy issue, specify the state, issue effect on exports with solution from dept side.
· Logistic and supply chain issues, effect on your sector and solution.
· Any other challenges in ease of doing business.

To reduce production costs, improve access to raw materials, or expand market access in high-demand regions.

To reducing carbon footprints, or aligning with global sustainability standards. Suggestions on EUs CBAM

Measures to enhance Research & development of high-value chemical products.

Export credit, interest subvention, etc.

Inverted Duty Structure

FTA issue w. r. t. countries and specific hurdle during preferential access.

Custom clearance process in India and FTA partner countries.
Please avoid issue related to RODTEP, MEIS, GST, MAI scheme, EVENTS, Seeking incentives, etc.
