Dear Members,
We have received communication from FT-SA Division, Department of Commerce informing us about the ongoing negotiations on Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between India and Iran.
We understand that till date, five round of negotiations have been held. In this connection, the Iranian wish list has been provided by Iranian side (enclosed).
The next round of PTA negotiation with Iran is expected to take place very soon. Therefore, EPCs have been requested to examine Iran’s wish list as well as India’s draft wish list and provide comments on the same, as early as possible.
The Iranian Wish list and Indian Wish list provided by DoC are enclosed herewith for your reference.
Members are requested to go through the wish lists and let us have their comments on our e-mail ids: deepak.gupta@chemexcil.gov.in; pwdd@chemexcil.gov.in and info@chemexcil.gov.in .
Your early replies will enable us submit industry views to DoC in this important PTA.
