Sub: Important DGFT Trade Notice on Retrospective Issuance of Certificates of Origin under India's trade Agreements - Reg.
Dear Member,
As you are aware, issuance of Form A1 from EIA during currentlock down situation is a matter of concern for the exporters.
The council/ Trade had also taken up this issue with the Government.
Taking cognizance of the issue, O/o DGFT has issued Trade Notice No. 59/2019-2020 dated 28/03/2020 regarding retrospective Issuance of Certificates of Origin under India's trade Agreements once offices re-open.
The trade notice also mentions about acceptance of such certificate by India's FTA partners and vice versa.
Members are requested to take note of this Trade Notice and do the needful accordingly.
