Indirect Tax Dispute Resolution Scheme-2016

Dear Members,
We have received communication from the Director General, Directorate General of Taxpayer Services on the Indirect Tax Dispute Resolution Scheme - 2016.
As you might be aware, Indirect Tax Dispute Resolution Scheme 2016 was announced in the 2016-17 Budget. The Rules required for implementation of the Scheme have been notified vide Notification No. 29/2016-CE (NT) dated 31 st May, 2016. The scheme is now open for filing of declarations by the taxpayers from June 1 st 2016 and shall remain open till December 31 st 2016. A brief note on the Indirect Tax Dispute Resolution Scheme, 2016 is enclosed.
