Inputs for 14th India-Philippines Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment (JWGTI) meeting -for preparation of the agenda

Dear Members,
CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from FT(ASEAN) Division, Department of Commerce above subject.
You might have aware that there is an Institutional Mechanism for bilateral trade engagements between India & Philippines in the Department, accordingly there is a provision of Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment (JWGTI) at the senior departmental officer level. The last India-Philippines JWGTI meeting (13th India-Philippines JWGT) was held virtually in Sept-2020.
The 14th meeting of India-Philippines JWGTI is now proposed to be held shortly in Manila, Philippines. This Department is in the process of preparation of draft agenda for this meeting. Please note the purpose of meeting is to strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries. This meeting is an opportunity for both nations to discuss and explore new opportunities for cooperation in various sectors including chemicals.
In view of above we request members to share the inputs with regards to following pointers for onward communication

Any other challenges faced by Indian chemical exporters in entering the Philippines market.
