Inputs for extension/enforcement of QCOs of  6 Chemicals - regarding.

 

Dear Sir ,

CHEMEXCIL is in receipt of communication from Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) intends to implement Quality Control Orders (QCOs) of following 06 Chemicals under the relevant provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016. Enforcement date of QCOs of following 06 Chemicals is 24th October 2024.
 

  1. Lauric Acid

  2. Acid Oil

  1. Palm Fatty Acids

  1. Rice Bran Fatty Acids

  1. Coconut Fatty Acids

  1. Hydrogenated Rice Bran Fatty Acids

In this regard, a Stakeholder's Consultation Meeting is scheduled to discuss extension/enforcement of above mentioned 6 QCOs under the Chairmanship of Joint Secretary(Chemicals) in coming week

Concerned members and end user industries are requested to share the following data for discussing the subject matter.
 

  • Domestic Capacity (in MT) for the last 3 years

  • Domestic Demand (in MT) for the last 3 years 

  • Domestic Production (in MT) for the last 3 years

  • Import (in MT) for the last 3 years

  • Country-wise import share (%)

  • End Usages etc.
