Dear Members,

We have received communication from TPD-B, Department of Commerce, GoI seeking Inputs on PSR for India-Australia Free Trade Agreement.

You might be aware that, India is negotiating Free Trade Agreement with Australia and negotiations are at advance stage.  For finalizing the chapter on Rules of Origin- Product Specific Rules, Regional Value Content & Value Addition clause need to be finalized.

In this regard, EPCs have been requested to provide inputs for preparing the Rules of Origin chapter including PSR, RVC , etc

Members are therefore  requested to provide inputs on PSR’s for India-Australia Free Trade Agreement by 29th Dec 2021 on our e-mail id-  dg@chemexcil.in,  pw@chemexcil.in  for  submission to DoC.

A virtual stakeholder consultation in this regard will also be organized in the first week of January, 2022. It is requested that inputs may please be provided timely  in order to have a fruitful discussion during the meeting.
