Dear Members,

This has reference to our recent circular (Ref: EPC:LIC:CHEM:DCPC:REGUL.:2025-26:367 dated 6th June 2025) regarding the mandatory data submission on the ChemIndia Webportal.

We have received numerous queries from members seeking guidance on the submission process.

To address these concerns and facilitate compliance, CHEMEXCIL has coordinated with the officials of Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) to organize an on-demand live demo session on the ChemIndia Webportal. 

This session will provide a step-by-step guidance of the registration and data submission process to ensure clarity and ease of compliance.
The details of the Live Demo Session are as under :-

• Date:12th June 2025

• Time: 2:00 PM (IST)

• Platform:Google Meet

• Joining Link: https://meet.google.com/fxz-stue-rvx

• Language: English and Hindi 

Please note the importance of this session as under :-

• Gain hands-on understanding of the ChemIndia Webportal.

• Learn how to submit the required data in the prescribed format.

• Clarify doubts directly with DCPC nodal officials.

• Ensure compliance to avoid penalties under the Collection of Statistics Act, 2008, as amended by the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, which may range from Rs.5,000 to Rs.1,00,000 per day of non-compliance.

We would like to reiterate that all registered chemical and petrochemical industries/units in India, except those dealing in exempted categories (Paints, Cosmetic Products, Fireworks, Petroleum Products, Pharmaceutical Products, Fertilizers, and Metals in Pure Form), are required to submit data on the ChemIndia Webportal.
