"Unlocking Global Markets: New FTAs, CBAM Challenge & Digital Opportunities"

As India pursues the ambitious goal of achieving USD 1 trillion in exports each from goods and services by 2030, the global trade environment is rapidly evolving. Free Trade Agreements are emerging as powerful tools to unlock new markets, enhance export competitiveness, and deepen India’s integration with global value chains. At the same time, policy shifts in major economies, such as the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), are posing new compliance challenges for exporters. Parallelly, digital trade and e-commerce are reshaping how services and goods are exchanged globally, raising important regulatory and strategic considerations for industry.

In this context, this workshop aims to deepen industry understanding of these critical developments, facilitate dialogue on challenges and opportunities, and gather inputs to shape industry preparedness and policy advocacy.
