As per the directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India. O.M.F. No. 40-2/2020DM-I(A) dated 24.03.2020, for port related activities including movement of vehicle and manpower have been declared as essential service. In order to ensure timely movement of cargo from warehouse/ CFS to JN Port, Navi- Mumbai has issued circular to the all Shipping Lines, Container Freight Stations(CFSs), Customs House Agents (CHAs), Private Container Train Operators, Truck Transporters, Empty Yard Operators, Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) BPCL Liquid Cargo Jetty and associated tank farms and all other stakeholders invited to the above subject.

As a matter of Trade facilitation it has been brought to the knowledge of this office that Members are facing difficulties in coming to JN Port, Navi-Mumbai for the essential cargo. As one time measure it is being advised that members of Trade may sent their request to controlroom@jnport.gov.in (Contact no. 022 27244022 / 67814022) in this regard with detail of Member, Mobile number and Govt issued ID, scan copy of photo, so that "ESSENTAIL service duty pass", can be issued in the format enclosed herewith.

All the trade associations/ members of Shipping Lines, Container Freight Stations(CFSs), Customs House Agents (CHAs), Private Container Train Operators, Truck Transporters, Empty Yard Operators, Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) BPCL Liquid Cargo Jetty and associated tank farms and all other stakeholders are requested to take note and publicize among their members.
