Dear Members,
The O/o Pr. Commissioner of Customs (NS-I), JNCH has issued Public Notice No. 40/2021 dated 3rd May 2021 regarding Partial modification of Public Notice No. 93/2020 dated 29.07.2020 (concerning Instructions for uploading documents in E-Sanchit for approval of AD Code/IFSC with Bank Account in ICES).
At the outset, attention of member-exporters is invited to PSU bank mergers & amalgamations happening in recent times.
In this regard, please refer to PN No. 93/2020 dated 29.07.2020 issued regarding Instructions for uploading documents in E-Sanchit for approval of AD Code/IFSC with Bank Account in ICES and Public Notice No. 21/2021 dated 09.03.2021 issued regarding change of IFSC and bank account due to bank merger.
We understand that in partial modification of Public Notice No. 93/2020 dated 29.07.2020, the following para is inserted:-
2.4 In case of amalgamation/merger of Banks, the modified annexure A (attached with this PN) needs to be submitted by exporter of their current Bank & no separate NOC is required from the previous bank.
Members are requested to take note of above and do the needful, if applicable. The said JNCH PN/ Annexure A available for reference on below link-
