Launch of MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme by Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India-reg.

Dear Sir,
Council is in receipt of communication from MSME-DFO, Kolkata, For Joint Director & HoO ( Head of Operations)
It is informed that MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme will be launched by Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India on 10.03.2023 at NDMC Convention Centre, Sansad Marg, New Delhi in presence of the Hon’ble Minister of MSME, senior dignitaries & MSMEs.
Background:
MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme is an extensive drive and continuous effort on the part of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for enhancing the competitiveness of MSME Sectors through implementation of Lean Tools and Techniques. Lean Tools and Techniques are a tested and proven methodology for improving the competitiveness of MSME sector.
Objective of Lean Scheme:
To enhance MSME productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness by reduction of wastages in processes, inventory management, space management, energy consumption, etc.
Scheme Validity:
The financial support, incentives, benefits & other provisions contained in the scheme herein will be valid till March 31, 2026.
Beneficiaries:
All sector MSME’s
As per the approved Guidelines of MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme (MCLS) can be attained in three Levels after registering and taking the Lean Pledge.

Approved Guideline of MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme, PPT on user manual regarding registration process under MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme are attached herewith.
Details of Benefits/ Incentives for MSMEs are mentioned in the attached approved guideline.
We suggest our all MSME members to register in the portal (http://lean.msme.gov.in ) under MSME Competitive (Lean) Scheme (MCLS) before the launch day i.e., 10.03.2023 and avail maximum benefits from the same.
