Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
India is one of the largest users of the trade remedy measures and MSMEs play a vital role in employment generation, economic development and inclusivity, driving innovation, supporting local supply chain etc.
In this context, we are pleased to inform you that the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), in collaboration with the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), CII & CHEMEXCIL is organizing a one-day workshop and outreach program on “Trade Remedies for Businesses and MSMEs” on 15th July 2025 (Tuesday) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
This important workshop will serve as an interactive platform for the domestic industry, particularly MSMEs, to understand and engage with trade remedy measures such as anti-dumping, countervailing, and safeguard duties.
Objectives of the Workshop:

To sensitize businesses about trade remedy measures and related procedures.

To enhance MSMEs’ capacity to pursue remedies when impacted by unfair imports.

To gain insights into reforms undertaken by DGTR to simplify procedures.

To provide a platform for industries to share challenges and suggestions directly with DGTR.
