Greetings from CHEMEXCIL!
As you are aware, a Free trade Agreement (FTA) is an agreement between two or more countries where the countries agree on certain obligations that affect trade in goods and services, and protections for investors and intellectual property rights, among other topics.
Free trade agreements contribute to greater economic activity and job creation and delivers opportunities for traders and manufacturers to benefit from greater trade and investment. It gives businesses and consumers improved access to a wider range of competitively priced goods and services, new technologies, and innovative practices, obtain more benefits from foreign investment. Further, it also promotes regional economic integration and built shared approaches to trade and investment among trading partners.
Recently, India has signed CEPA with UAE and ETCA with Australia. Negotiations are also going on for various other markets like UK, EU & Canada etc.
In order to create awareness on FTA’s and how it can help in growth of exports, CHEMEXCIL in association with Vatva Industries Association is organising a physical seminar on “Growth of Exports through FTA’s (Free Trade Agreements)” on 23rd November, 2022 at Vatva Industries Association, from 14:30 hrs which will be conducted by Mr. Sudhakar Kasture- Director, Exim Institute.
