Recording of Demo Session conducted by CHEMEXCIL on the Mandatory Data Submission on ChemIndia Webportal

 

Dear Members,

This refers to our recent circulars No. EPC:LIC:CHEM:DCPC:REGUL.:2025-26:367 dated 6th June 2025 and EPC:LIC:DCPC:CHEM-INDIA:DATA:DEMO:MISC/400 dated 11th June 2025 regarding the mandatory data submission on the ChemIndia Webportal.

In continuation of the same, CHEMEXCIL reiterates the importance of compliance with the Gazette Notification issued by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, dated 27th February 2024. All registered chemical and petrochemical industries/units in India, except Merchant exporters / Traders and those dealing in specific exempted categories, are required to submit data on the ChemIndia Webportal (https://chemindia.chemicals.gov.in/ ).

Exempted Product Categories:

The following industries are exempted from data submission:

    •             Paint

    •             Cosmetic Products

    •             Fireworks

    •             Petroleum Products (e.g., Lubricants)

    •             Pharmaceutical Products

    •             Fertilizers

    •             Metals in Pure Form

To address concerns regarding the submission process, CHEMEXCIL organized an Interactive Session and Live Demo on the step-by-step procedure for data submission on the ChemIndia Portal.

We are pleased to share the Recording of Live Demo organised by CHEMEXCIL in collaboration with the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals on 12th June 2025.
